Michelle Simmons
Founder & CEO, SQCMichelle is the Director of the Centre of Excellence and an Australian Laureate Fellow. She was 2018 Australian of the Year, and is Editor-in-Chief of Nature Quantum Information and the 2017 L’Oréal-UNESCO Asia-Pacific Laureate in the Physical Sciences.
Simon Segars
ChairMr Segars joined British tech giant Arm, which licenses its computer chip designs to manufacturers, as its 16th employee in 1991. He was CEO from 2013 to 2022, including through its 2016 acquisition by Japan’s SoftBank Group for $US32 billion.
Fiona Pak-Poy
Non-Executive DirectorMs Pak-Poy brings her considerable experience as a company Chair and non‑executive director to SQC, having worked across an array of industries including tech, healthcare, and financial services with both venture capital backed tech start-ups and listed companies.
Hugh Bradlow
Non-Executive DirectorHugh was Chief Scientist at Telstra, President of the Australian Academy of Technology and Engineering and a Professorial Fellow of University of Melbourne. He is Chair of the Board of ASX-listed RocketBoots Ltd and an Emeritus Professor of Electrical Engineering at University of Wollongong.
Kim Krogh Andersen
Group Executive, Product & Technology, TelstraKim leads Telstra’s Product & Technology function, responsible for delivering Telstra’s product and technology roadmap. He is also accountable for Telstra’s product strategy and lifecycle, and technology and innovation where products are incubated and brought to scale.
David Whiteing
Non-Executive DirectorDavid is the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director at data analysis platform provider, Zetaris. David is an experienced business and IT executive both in Australia and overseas. He was formerly group chief operating officer of Standard Chartered Bank and Group Executive and CIO of the Commonwealth Bank.
Chris Austin
General Manager, Business Development & Partnerships, CBAAccomplished corporate finance executive with over twenty years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets and business and corporate strategy. Chris was instrumental in the establishment of SQC.
Michael Rose
Senior Advisor, UNSWAn experienced director with particular experience on the boards of Government organisations and companies engaged in public private partnerships. Michael is a lawyer by background and the former Chief Executive Partner of one of Australia’s leading commercial law firms.
